the tale of Teawagon

The name teawagon comes from a wartime YMCA wagon that would serve tea to the troops in old enamel cups, the ladies wearing their headscarves tied in a bow and a pretty floral apron. The warm smell of bergamot and hot tea wafting from the flip-up side of the truck.
This blog was created to showcase my makes and ideas in case I ever look back and wonder what I did with my time...
Before having our two boys, I was a high street clothing designer, I also did graphic design and worked freelance but these days I am happiest pegging out my freshly washed vintage sheets and making things out of them or sticking things together with glue.
I plan to return to my graphic roots one day.......but for now the smell of tea and laundry powder fills my days :)
