very nice patterns and prints!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous crafting I'm seeing here. Typical kid eh?!Thinking about feeding the belly and not a scrap of interest in the practical things like clothing. :) Although it does sound like he's keen to brush his teeth while on camp.

Oh I love your vintage material creations....I have been collecting hoops for sometime now...my daughter wants a collection in her room...joy!
ReplyDeleteHappy packing him up! xoxoxoxo HUGS

ReplyDeletelove it, a lot.

I love all the different fabrics together.
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous gorgeousness as always Jane. I'm hoping inspiration will hit me at some point today.
ReplyDeleteI think that sounds like a very good munchy bit of packing.

toothbrush??? what the heck? You've raised a miracle!
ReplyDelete(when Alfie came back from cub camp the smell in the car when I picked him up made me retch!) (wretch?)
Anyway - I'm giddy on Fridayness. Cleggy home tonight (he'll be asleep by 7!) and at last, the weekend is here. Glad I made you laugh with my scarf story. I nearly kept it on.

Jane you have such a talented eye for fabric, what to put together, what to buy and sell. I am sorely tempted to add to my stash but at nearly 2000 hexagons now, I have to stop and start sewing them together or I'll end up with the king size blanket I never intended to make.
ReplyDeleteTemptress!!

Your #1 sounds just like my eldest. Instead of the usual worries that 11 year olds have about going to big school all she could think of was the gaps between food. You have to love them.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great weekend,
x
I had a duvet cover in the fabric used on your largest hoop as a child!
ReplyDeleteI think your son has his priorities just right, the then 9 year old came home with a dry facecloth & soap & clean pants... Bleurghhh!
He had a whale of a time

Hihi I can imagine your #1 when at camp: 'Akela, I cannot find my...' *sighs* Lovely memories of past camps, when I was a cub-leader, come up.
ReplyDeleteLovely eye candy as always, dear Jane! I hope your son has a wonderful time at camp. I never travel without chocolate, lol! xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteAt least the essentials were packed! Hope the weather will be kind. My youngest has gone off on a D of E weekend (glad I am cosy in my little den!). Have a good weekend. x
ReplyDeleteLovely. Lovely. Lovely and lovely! :)
ReplyDeleteJust bung a packet of wet wipes in and that's nearly every base covered...I'm a little late with this fabulous piece of advice....
ReplyDeleteI love your granny blankets! they are gorgoues and you have so much staying power to make more than one!!! :O)
ReplyDeleteAlso, the bunting= wonderful, I love the sheets, they remind me of my parents sheets when I was young, it is fabulous!
Have a lovely week XXX
