I have a new best friend......it comes in many shapes and sizes and has a very groovy font...I know I'm a little late to the party for Mod Podge crushes but now I know what all the fuss is about :).....
it helped me turn my cute little vintage cases into these :)
and also on the inside....
I am planning lots more Mod Podging activities...if you would like to know how to do the outside of the suitcase there is a fab tutorial over here
......other non Mod Podge related news is that littleteawagon cushions and bunting have been featured in Prima June 2012 Craft Supplement Magazine. Its a really lovely little mag with lots of nice ideas for making and sewing like this.......
.....also this weekend I will be packing my ModPodged little cases full of bags and bunting and prints and vintage supplies and heading down to the Magpies and I vintage craft market in Altrincham...this is not something I do very often ( I like to hide away in my little garden shed mostly ) but a very lovely new friend....oooh betty has invited me to share a stall with her and her very lovely vintagey and retro things....how could I refuse?... we will no doubt spend the afternoon chatting and drinking lots of tea and getting quite giddy :)
so with that I will wish you a very happy weekend..
I know its only Thursday but I am thinking ahead :)

Ooo I need to get my hands on some of that sticky magic, your cases are stunning! Have fun at the craft fair.
ReplyDeleteThe suitcases are brilliant! Love 'em! Well done for discovering Mod Podge, it does a myriad of great jobs. I really like to use it to make collage look good, not just the sticking-down stuff but it give almost a varnished effect if you go over the whole thing when its finished!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, you can certainly find it in most hobby/craft shops in the UK and on-line too.
Oh I have absolutlely NO connection with Mod Podge! :)
